Not much attention has been paid to fullback Jeremy McKinney, most observers thought that one or both of the two true freshmen fullbacks - Cody Blackwelder or Jordan Stephany - would replace McKinney but that never happened. McKinney scored Tulane's second touchdown when he hauled in an 8-yard pass from Elliott to tie the score at 14 with 2:33 remaining in the first quarter
