The Army game was lost because the Green Wave has not yet developed the consistency to close out a close game. In fact, the Army game is very reminiscent of the Southeastern Louisiana game which Tulane won 35-27. In that ball game the Wave defense allowed Southeastern to creep within 8 points by allowing a touchdown with 1:57 to go
