Roswell's Taliaferro Waits For Season To End

Roswell's Taliaferro Waits For Season To End

I had a visit to USM coming up, but that's out now. We play our third playoff game Friday, there's two more rounds before the 5A Championship game. I'm going to wait for the season to end

Roswell High School quarterback Dustin Taliaferro has been the man behind the Hornet's march into the state playoffs. Knee deep in a bid for the state championship, Dustin has put recruiting on hold until he's played his final ball game.

Tulane Insider correspondent Frank Rotolo caught up with Dustin Tuesday evening and here's what Dustin had to say.

TI: Dustin, how's recruiting going?
DT: Going pretty good. I'm still hearing from the same schools. I don't have any favorite, I'm pretty much open.

TI: Have you set any official visits yet?
DT: I had a visit to USM coming up, but that's out now. We play our third playoff game Friday, there's two more rounds before the 5A Championship game. I'm going to wait for the season to end.

TI: Any new offers?
DT: No, the same three - East Carolina, USM, Tulane. TI: How patient are the recruiters about your waiting?
DT: They say they're playing it week-to-week, when my season's over we'll talk about visit dates.

TI: How did your season go? Do you have your season stats?
DT: Well, we're doing real well, so the season's going great. About the stats, I honestly don't know.

TI: Any change in your vital statistics - height, weight, 40-time?
DT: Not much, 6-3, 205-pounds, 4.7.
