Hahnville Receiver Byrd Not Ready To Commit

LaRon Byrd, the 6-foot-3, 210-pound wide receiver from Hahnville High School made his official visit to the Green Wave last weekend. Today, Tulane Insider co-publisher Wayne Picou spokewith Byrd's high school head coach, Lou Valdin, about how it went. Here's what Valdin had to say.

"LaRon went to Tulane over the weekend but he didn't commit," said Valdin. "He told me he really liked it but doesn't think he's ready to commit. He's got LSU, Auburn, Mississippi State, and Nebraska coming in this week."
