Green Wave Drops 6th Straight

Tulane (15-12, 5-8) lost its sixth straight, 80-63 to sharp-shooting Central Florida (15-12, 8-5) Wednesday night at UCF. The Knights were paced by Jermaine Taylor's game-high 19 points. Taylor scored 15 in the first half.

UCF opened up a 44-33 half time lead, hitting 8-of-13 three point attempts. Tulane was unable to get any closer than 9 points the entire second half. The Knight's also overpowered the Green Wave on the boards holding a 34-21 advantage in rebounds.

Tulane point guard Kevin Sims led the Green Wave with 18 points and shot 7-for-11 from the field. Senior forward David Gomez chipped in 12 points and 2 blocked shots. Robinson Louisme scored 11 points, while recording a team-high 7 rebounds, 3 blocks, and one steal.
