Tulane Drops 7th Straight

Tulane (15-13, 5-9) closed out the regular season with a 69-44 loss to UAB (21-8, 11-3) Saturday at Bartow Arena before a crowd of 7,037. The Green Wave had no answer for the Blazer's Robert Vaden who scored a game-high 30 points. The loss marked the 7th consecutive defeat for the Green Wave.

UAB took control from the opening tip and built 41-18 halftime lead. Tulane shot an abyssmal 23.3 percent from the field in the opening half, while UAB controlled the boards with a 43-30 rebounding advantage.

Senior forward David Gomez scored 12 points for the Green Wave and recorded a game-high 4 blocks and 4 steals. Forward Robinson Louisme equaled Gomez team-high 12 points and also led the Green Wave with 9 boards.
