Under-recruited linebacker prospect from Monsignor Pace High School in Miami, Fla.,
Named third-team Class 3A All-State and a first team All-Dade County choice by the Miami Herald as a senior.
Degree of physical readiness indicates that he could get playing time as a true freshman if he absorbs enough of the defense in pre-season to contribute.
2004 was his only season at Pace High School and he was limited to playing in just seven games due to injury.
His 85 tackles and five quarterback sacks helped Pace to a 12-3 record and both district and regional titles. Also forced two fumbles in 2004.
Transferred to Pace from MacArthur High in Hollywood, Fla. where he played offensive tackle and defensive line. Made 60 tackles with three sacks there as a junior. Also lettered in track and field. Honor Roll student.
Chose Tulane over Duke, East Carolina and Florida Atlantic.
