Strong-legged kicker and multi-sport athlete accepted a baseball scholarship offer from Tulane in early summer 2006 and
will forego a college football career.
Robbie made the cut to 32 for the Team USA entry in the Junior World Baseball Championship and will compete for a spot on the final 18-man team roster in September.
An extremely effective power pitcher, with three quality pitches, Robbie throws
right-handed and also plays third base.
Robbie will be following former Rummel Raiders Nathan Southard, Robbie Whitman, and 2006 senior Ryan Scott to Tulane, and will by joined in 2007 by another Raider rising senior in Kirk Cunningham.
