In 2007 spring practice AB moved back to center for offensive line coach Mark Hutson, after having started at left guard in all 12 games in 2006.
Aryan was considered the heir apparent at center but switched to left guard during 2006 spring practice and won the starting job, which he held throughout pre-season camp and the 2006 season.
Redshirted in 2003 and played in four games as a reserve in 2004. Did not see any game action in 2005.
Younger brother Aja is a member of the Tulane baseball team.
